STUDIO

ATYP Architects is an Athens based architectural design studio, founded by architects Alexandros Tsonidis and Yiorgos Papazoglou in 2019. Alexandros and Yiorgos have been working in parallel and together on various projects up until founding ATYP Architects as an expression of their point of view on contemporary architecture and their design approach.
Through a deep understanding of the unique context of each project a connection between architecture and human experience is built, forming a seamless fusion of form and function tied to the architectural narrative embedded within, infusing every space with purpose and meaning. Every project becomes a transformative journey that redefines the conventional normative of architecture through research and theory to generate emerging contemporary design adjusted to context and place.
From residential architecture and workplace design to hospitality, retail, and bar-restaurant projects a holistic approach is applied that starts from architectural design embeding landscape,  interior and lighting design in its core thinking.
