Thus, a solid “ribbon” made of bare concrete was designed to enclose a private yard and separate it from the rest of the olive grove at the ground level. Three guestrooms and a recreation room were arranged around the yard in cavities formed by the “ribbon”. In contrast, the main house was designed at the upper level enclosed in a geometric volume, gently placed on the “ribbon” correlated with the orientation and the breath-taking view of Mystras. A panorama opening was “cut” on one side of this volume and the living areas (living, dining, kitchen) of the house were arranged in open plan behind it. The master bedroom with its walk-in-closet and bath are also located at this level. The basement of the house includes all auxiliary spaces and a cellar.
